Benefit Big Easy in Light 02 |
I bought Benefit's new adventure into the not-quite BB cream market against my better judgement (mostly curiosity) last week,
According to Benefit's website it is "a multi-balancing complexion perfector" that gives "light-to-medium natural coverage to even out skin tone and conceal imperfections." It is also a liquid-to-powder product.
And I hated it. I actually returned the product to buy something else because it was really not for my skin. It dried out patches and had a streaky finish, no matter how I applied it (sponge, brush, fingers, a different shape of brush, etc). It seemed to just sit on top of my skin and do nothing. It did dry down into a powder, a very stubborn powder. In the places where I actually got it to not dry out my skin or look streaky, it did provide a lovely light coverage that enhanced my already good skin. But on areas I might need a little more help, like my pores, redness, dryness, wrinkles, etc, it seemed to only emphasize.
Swatches. |
Before you think it was the wrong color, it was only the wrong color near my white scalp, otherwise, color was not the issue.
If you already have good skin and want something to make it look better, this product is for you. If, you are like me, and have any myriad of problems with your skin, you might want to try something else. I have pictures of it on my face, but I seriously don't want to show anyone! lol

If you are interested, you can pick Benefit's Big Easy up at Ulta (like I did mine) where is comes in 6 sades from Fair to Deep Beige, or at Benefit's website for $38.00.
TL;DR--BAD FORMULA FOR MY SKIN TYPE. RETURNED. WAH WAA.
